UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES!

2026 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC)

Qualifying scores for the event may only be earned at designated USEF/NAYC Qualifying Competitions, within the qualifying period beginning July 22, 2025, and ending June 22, 2026, unless otherwise determined by February 1, 2026. Please be sure to thoroughly review the 2026 Selection Procedures.

The 2026 NAYC Application is now available on the USDF website. Applications and fees submitted online, on or prior to March 9, 2026, will be charged $100 per application. Applications and fees submitted online between March 10, 2026, and April 20, 2026, will be charged $150 per application.

Applications and fees submitted online between April 21, 2026, and May 4, 2026, will be charged an application fee of $300 per application. No applications will be accepted after May 4, 2026, at 11:59pm ET.

Additional horses may be added to an already received application at no additional fee through April 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, by submitting the Additional Horse Form to the USDF Office. Between April 21, 2026, and May 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, the rider will be required to submit a $75 fee for each added horse. No additional horses may be added to the application after May 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The 2026 qualifying period runs from January 1 through the end of the qualifying period of the respective regional championship competition the athlete will be attending. More information can be found on the USDF website.

NEWS FROM THE DRESSAGE FOUNDATION

The Dressage Foundation is pleased to announce a new grant for youth and young adults! Amelia's "Dressage for All" Youth Fund was founded by Amelia Newcomb and friends in 2025 to support dressage education for youth and young adult riders (age 25 and under).

Applicants can be riding and training any breed of horse at any level, and applications are accepted from riders who own their own horse, lease a horse, or take lessons on a school horse. Up to five grants of $1,000 are available. Applications are due by April 1.
